- ASTM D-1784, rigid PVC compounds and chlorinated PVC (CPVC) compounds.
- Do not use lasco fittings for compressed air or gases.
- Do not test PVC piping systems with compressed air or gases.
- Do not use fittings with liquids not recommended by lasco.
- Fitting modification voids the warranty.
- Recommended gaskets, full face 1/8 in thick elastomeric, 50 to 70 shore A hardness.
- Bolt threads should be well lubricated.
- Nut and bolt threads should be free-running during assembly.
- Always use full size flat washers with bolts and nuts.
- Use primer and heavy bodied PVC cement.
- 5/8-11 UNC x 3-1/4 in L bolt.
